These maze like drawings started out in the daily practice created after the birth of my daughter. In the day to day working of motherhood, I lost a lot of my drive or focus to create. When I could find time to create anything, I was often overwhelmed at the idea of what to make. These drawings were the beginnings of my way out. They require complete focus in the moment and nearly no preplanning. They are now part of my regular practice and appear in many aspects of my work, namely my ceramics. I credit them as a major part of me finding my way back to creating and myself.
